Welcome to Monyati Initiatives, a non-profit social development organization. Two years ago I established Monyati to help communities in need. Our activities began with a small project in Nepal where we provided space heaters to an orphanage and school in Kathmandu. From there we've grown significantly and have raised over 2mil AED for projects around the world. To date we have set up a women-only vocational sewing center in Kashmir Pakistan, constructed low-cost houses in the slums of Sao Paulo Brazil, build a water well in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, constructed classrooms for a very basic school in Uttar Pradesh India and have provided basic care products for orphans and children with special needs in Khartoum Sudan. Each financial support we receive goes solely into the specific
initiative; for us this ensures that every dollar is given to the people in need
and not one penny is lost on administration fees. Our success is achieved through our combined effort and awareness. I am forever grateful to all our remarkable supporters and to the beautiful opportunity to create an impact in our world. Sometimes the immensity of all our global challenges is intimidating and can make us feel helpless. However I believe we can achieve change step by step with one small tangible commitment at a time.
